FD/R/4556-71/2026. In terms of Rule 26(1)(a) of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir Rules of Business (Revised) 1985, the President. Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has been pleased to grant of Rescue Risk Allowance @ 50% of initial basic pay scale 2022 w.e.f 01-04-2026 to all field staff of SDMA (Rescue 1122) rendering rescue operations.
2 The said allowance will not be admissible to the following officers/officials:-
i. Officers/Officials under suspension.
ii. Officers/Officials who have been made OSDs or who have been directed to report to the Departments on the charges of inefficiency/misconduct or indiscipline.
iii. When Officer/Official is on leave for 90 days & above, extra ordinary leave, study leave or training abroad.
iv. The referred allowance will not be counted towards pension and commutation/gratuity.
3. Required funds will be adjusted in the Revised Budget Estimates for FY 2025-26.
